Bio
In all my 26 years on this planet I am finally getting paid for something I love to do.
I started out in high school playing in Art class with an old digital 1.5-mega-pixel, floppy disk camera, and my old high 8 Sony video camera.
After I was through with high school, I grabbed my video camera and headed off to college to get my Multimedia diploma.
I found my self putting down my video camera and gravitating to the SLR camera.
My video camera days were numbered and I hit the ground running into the photography world.
After a few years of looking for a job in the Multimedia field and almost giving up, I came across Shutterbug Photography. Lucky for me they just so happened to be looking for another photographer.
As an employee I helped publish lethbridgebride.com magazine, I worked under the owner/photographer, and I couldn’t have asked for a better person to work for.
Being employed at Shutterbug for over two-years I was given the amazing opportunity to purchase Shutterbug Photography.
In my spare time I like to hit the mountains, whether on my mountain bike or on my ski’s and snowboard. I also have two fuzzy dog children and an awesome wife that I spend most of what little spare time I have.
Now I am the proud owner of Shutterbug Photography. We are a family run studio. Wife that deals with the inner-workings and photography, and myself who deals with everything from photography to editing beautiful photos to dealing with clients face-to-face makes up this family studio.
We bring over 14 years of experience all together to the table.
The media world is changing fast and I intend to keep up the pace.
Mission
It’s our mission is to enjoy and have fun, whenever that might be.
We specialize in Weddings, Fashion/Glamour, and Corporate Photography. We take great care in everything we do. What ever project is set in front of use we produce quality Products, Sharp Crisp Images, and a great experience.
My photos have an edgy feel to them, with clean, sharp edges.
Here at Shutterbug we make photos, we don’t just take them.
Difference
Shutterbug is one of the only Family run studios in Lethbridge, with myself (the owner) and my wife (assistant/photographer) we all bring an array of ideas to the table for our clients.
Shutterbug Photography is driven to give our clients first-class products and an exceptional experience.
Shutterbug came under new management November 2008.
In the studio there is an all around new feel and out look on Photography.
At Shutterbug Photography we make photo’s, we don’t just take photo’s. Any person can pick up a camera and take a photo, but being a professional photographer I am able to control all aspects in the photos I create. With lighting, exposures, subject positioning, I can control the environmental proportions of a shot to fit the needs of my clients.
I believe in the Art of photography. My photography is raw and heartfelt.
I do little retouching to my photos. I only retouch if there is a need or a request to do so.
